There is a certain magic that happens when the Erie morning air meets the first roar of a burner. It’s more than just a launch, it’s the thrill of walking inside a cavern of color, the sticky-sweet smell of breakfast from a food truck, and the wide-eyed look on a face-painted kid watching a giant rise. This is the Erie Balloon Festival, where the community gathers to catch the color and soak up the wonder.
